Premiering today on V Magazine, the video for 'Heart Is A Far Light', the first single from new WIFE record, 'What's Between' (Tri Angle Records)
This video is a true collaboration between myself and my husband, Ben Ashton, and James Kelly, the brilliant musician and artist behind the WIFE moniker.
There is a lot of us in this project; the texture that you see in the beginning and end is that of a life-sized, charcoal-dusted agar jelly petri dish of a naked Ben that he made almost a decade ago and which was recently found, crystallised, in the back of a shed. My hand makes a little cameo, sharing a strange offering with Ben's outstretched hands...

// last weekend I had the privilege of shooting composer Colin Matthews at his extraordinary home in South London, for label NMC. Another amazing part of my work, spending time with inspiring craftspeople.
Here he is pictured with a hand-written page from Benjamin Britten's last opera, sent to Colin for amendments, as a part of his work with Britten. This blows my tiny mind.
